The new Off-White x Jordan 5 Black celebrates the 30th anniversary of the AJ5 and creative director Virgil Abloh made sure it was pure fire. A shoe that first leaked around the fall of last year, not much is known about the Off White x Air Jordan collaboration, but what is 100% sure is the fact that these will sell out when they drop in the not-too-distant future !
Bringing his love of deconstruction to the legendary basketball silo, Abloh's latest Nike sneaker is painted in a "Black Metallic" color scheme and replaces the usual leather construction with semi-translucent panels. Quoted Off-White designer signature text appears on the laces, while technical verbiage returns along the medial side.
One thing that had every sneakerhead talking when these Jordan 5s first leaked was the Air midsole. Paying homage to the legendary legacy it brought to the world, this Off White Air Jordan 5 opts for a pre-worn unit that gives off vintage vibes. While this may not be for everyone, it really adds to the overall look of the shoe.
